What inspired you to pursue a career in family medicine?
- The patient-provider relationship is a fundamental aspect of family medicine that deeply resonates with me and inspired my decision to pursue a career in family medicine. I find great fulfillment in building strong rapport with patients, listening to their concerns, and advocating for them throughout their healthcare journey. I believe in treating every patient with empathy, respect, and dignity, and family medicine offers the ideal platform to cultivate these meaningful, long-term connections.
Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?
- During my time with the Community-Based Family Medicine Residency program, I witnessed firsthand how the program seamlessly connects patient care with vital community resources and ensures continuity beyond the clinic. The genuine warmth and unwavering dedication of both residents and faculty transformed the experience into something profoundly inspiring. It became clear that this program is not just a training ground, but a community where I can evolve into the compassionate, dedicated physician I aspire to be.
