What are your specific areas of clinical interest and why?

• I am interested in preventative medicine because I feel that with early intervention I can improve my patients’ quality of life, so that they have a happy and healthy journey.

What inspired you to pursue a career in family medicine?

• I truly enjoy the relationship centered aspect of the field. I have always been drawn to continuity of care, following a patient through different stages of life, understanding their social context and treating them as a whole person.

Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?

• The program’s mission to train physicians who provide high-quality, community based care deeply resonates with my values. The program focuses on serving underserved populations, which align with my goal to make meaning impact in communities.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?

• I enjoy a variety of different things; I enjoy cooking and baking, carpentry, and DIY. I love spending time with my wife and two kids, especially exploring new restaurants and trying new cuisine. Above all else, my favorite hobby is napping.
