What is your hometown?

Pasco, WA.

Where did you attend medical school?

University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM) – San Antonio TX.

What other educational credentials do you have?

B.A Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Carroll College – Helena, MT.

What are your particular clinical interests and why?

General family medicine with interest in integrating osteopathic manipulative techniques (OMT) and the osteopathic principles into my daily patient encounters. I enjoy taking care of a broad spectrum of patients and learning from my patients. I enjoy OMT because it really gives me the chance to focus in on listening on the particular complaint of the patient and come up with a customize care plan that works best for them and their life-style.

Why did you choose Family Medicine?

To find health should be the object of the doctor. Anyone can find disease.” Andrew Taylor Still

The above quote, from the founder of osteopathic medicine, summarizes my approach towards my patients, life, and to the art of medicine. I look forward to a career caring for patients from the time of infancy to the age retirement in the general family practice setting. It is in this setting where I find enjoyment in learning how to provide the best healthcare for people in all stages of life and passing on that knowledge to those patients so that they can live out and achieve their goals and dreams.

Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?

I plan on practicing in the outpatient setting and I really wanted to train in the outpatient setting. This was a big draw for me when I applied to this program. I also appreciate that this program really lives up to the work-life balance that is so often lacking in residency training.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?

Learning more about my Roman Catholic Faith. Being married to my wife (Renee), we married in May of 2021. Caring and experiencing the wonder that is our daughter (Anastasia) whom we welcomed into our lives on August of 2022. I also enjoy running, reading, hiking.
