What inspired you to pursue a career in family medicine?
I find myself drawn to the broad scope of practice that the field offers where I am able to come across a wide variety of medical conditions. I also love how I am able to develop long-term relationships with my patients all while taking a comprehensive and holistic approach to their healthcare.
Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?
One of the reasons I chose this program stems from being able to provide care for underserved communities. I look forward to being an advocate for my patients both in the clinic and in the community. I am eager to collaborate with local organizations and outreach programs that aim to create a supportive environment that will promote overall patient health and wellness.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
I enjoy cooking, exploring different cuisines and hunting for local hole-in-the-walls, reading, swimming, and yoga.
