What are your particular clinical interests and why?

Preventative medicine for a healthier future.

 

Why did you choose Family Medicine?

I choose family medicine because it is a “speciality without borders.” As a family physician, I can provide comprehensive care to a variety of patients. Ultimately, providing care to all members of the family from pediatrics to geriatrics, building long-lasting bonds.

 

Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?

Through my medical journey, my experiences highlighted the various socioeconomic factors that impact health and the prevalence of health disparities in the underserved populations due to lack of access to primary care. It has broadened my understanding of their medical needs and the crucial role family physicians play as active participants on the front lines, providing affordable access to healthcare.

 

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?

Traveling, music, movies.
