Where did you attend medical school?
- Near East University in Cyprus.
What are your particular clinical interests and why?
- My clinical interests include preventative care and patient education, I believe that when the patients are more aware of their conditions they are more likely to have a better adherence to treatment and better overall outcome, also I am interested in chronic care management of diabetes, hypertension and the effect of lifestyle changes on the quality of life as well as promoting big picture approach and patient-centric care for healthier communities.
What inspired you to pursue a career in family medicine?
- I chose family medicine because of its comprehensive approach to healthcare, which aligns with my passion for treating patients holistically. Family medicine allows me to build long-term relationships with patients and address a wide range of medical issues across all ages.
Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?
- I choose the Community-Based Family Medicine Residency program because it allows me to give back to the community and at the same time gives me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients and conditions across the population which is the heart of family medicine.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
- I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, I love reading especially thrillers and fiction novels, I love listening to music and playing the organ occasionally, I also love knitting and crocheting.
