What are your particular clinical interests and why?

  • Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), addiction medicine, behavioral health.

 

What inspired you to pursue a career in family medicine?

  • I enjoy getting to know about our patients on a deeper level over time, while also being their first point of contact for their health needs. Also, the broad scope of our practice keeps each day interesting!

 

Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?

  • One of the reasons for choosing this program was its commitment to the underserved populations and the surrounding community. Also during my interview, I appreciated the welcoming vibes of the faculty and residents and could see the residents’ career interests were well supported.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?

  • I enjoy going to the gym in my free time, but would also love to further explore other activities like yoga and rock climbing! I’ve also gotten back into reading – mostly nonfiction about anything that piques my interest. I try to keep up with soccer and Formula 1 on the weekends as well.
