What are your particular clinical interests and why?
Preventative medicine because the study focuses on the bad from getting worse. It should be one of the core values of any good family medicine doctor.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I chose family medicine because it allows me to help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged patients in our community. I felt that family medicine doctors valued personal relationships over cut-throat efficiency or financial pursuits that I saw in other specialties.
Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?
I chose this program because I truly felt that our program offers a friendly, educational, and supportive environment for residents to grow and nurture. And so far, that feeling has been correct because all our faculty and residents in this program have been amazing people!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
Spending time with my family, going out to eat, trying out new local venues and photography Dr. Justin Ko D.O.
