Where did you attend medical school?

Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine – Lynchburg, VA.

What other educational credentials do you have?

B.S. in Exercise Science – Brigham Young University at Provo, UT.

What are your particular clinical interests and why?

Sports medicine, musculoskeletal problems, injections. I grew up dancing and playing soccer, and having my own share of injuries, I became interested in the mechanics of the body and helping it heal and decreasing one’s pain. I also like pediatrics, because I love kids!

Why did you choose Family Medicine?

I like how flexible it is, I can do as much or little as I’d like with age, disease, etc. I can also create my own little niche practice if I so choose. I chose medicine in general because I liked the challenge, and that it deals with science, physiology, and also the facet of meeting so many people daily.

Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?

I feel very fulfilled being able to help out those who don’t have much access to healthcare. They are always so grateful for help.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?

Running, playing soccer, singing, dancing, hiking, going to shows like ballets and movies, going to museums, spending time with my wife and daughter!
