What inspired you to pursue a career in family medicine?
I like to listen to what each patient has to say. I like medicine in general, thus, family medicine will allow me to stay current on the most recent advancements in medicine. I also really enjoy talking about lifestyle management and how people can manage their many life stresses.
Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?
My first true clinical experience was at the Corazon Clinic. This clinic was a place where anyone who could not afford regular doctor visit could get medical care. Serving this population was extremely fulfilling which is the reason I chose a community based program.
