Where did you attend medical school?
Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University (AZCOM).

 

What other educational credentials do you have?
Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering.

 

What are your particular clinical interests?
Sports/musculoskeletal medicine, point of care ultrasound, Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT).

 

What inspired you to pursue a career in Family Medicine?
I find myself drawn to the role family medicine physicians play as the “face of healthcare” for their patients and the immense responsibility that comes with that. I intend to not only care for my patients but advocate for them as well.

 

Why did you choose the Community-Based Family Medicine Residency program?
I chose the Community-Based FM Residency Program because of the dedication shown by the faculty and staff toward each resident’s education. They were clearly invested in helping the residents achieve their vision of success in family medicine or beyond.

 

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
I love spending time outdoors whether that be simply walking my dog, Dipper, or taking a camping trip up in the mountains. I also enjoy playing video games and growing carnivorous plants.
