On the Women’s Health and Gynecology Rotation, you will gain valuable experience learning many aspects of Women’s Health such as: Annual Well-Woman Exams, Clinical Breast Exam, Pap Smear, Teen Health, Diagnostic Services, Screening Mammograms, and Contraceptives.

You will also learn about: Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, Endometriosis, Fibroids, Incontinence Care, Infertility Evaluation, Menopause Management, Ovarian Cysts/ Adnexal Pathology, Pelvic Pain, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and Vaginal and Vulvar Health.
This rotation also provides you the opportunity to learn many outpatient gynecological procedures such as IUD Placement, Contraceptive Implant, Transvaginal Ultrasound, Cervical Biopsies, and Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP) to name a few.
