This rotation includes 4 weeks of Geriatrics and Palliative Care Rotation in San Antonio and Kerrville, and involves:

• Long Term Care – Longitudinal Clinic

• Home Based Primary Care

• Geriatric Education and Management Clinic

• Palliative Care Geriatric/Hospice Consult Service

You will work with both the VA attending physicians as well as UT physicians and Geriatric fellows. While on the rotation, you are able to participate in educational sessions such as Grand Rounds and didactics with the UT fellows.

All residents attend VA didactics once a month as a group.
