- Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
- Master of Biomedical Science.
What are your particular clinical interests and why?
- My clinical interests include preventive medicine and chronic disease management. I enjoy working with patients to stay healthy and catch issues early, as well as helping manage long term conditions in a way that fits their everyday lives.
What inspired you to pursue a career in family medicine?
- I chose family medicine because I value the continuity of care and the chance to support patients through every stage of life, both medically and emotionally. Family medicine allows me to be versatile and holistic in my approach in addressing physical health, mental well-being, prevention, and the broader social factors that influence care.
Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program?
- I chose a Community-Based Family Medicine Residency program because San Antonio is my hometown, and I’m passionate about giving back to the community that raised me. I’m especially committed to serving the underserved populations in the area, working to improve access to care and address the health disparities that affect so many in our city.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
- My hobbies and interests include spending quality time with friends and family, as well as enjoying outdoor activities like running and taking long walks with my toy poodle. I also love cooking and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
