University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM), San Antonio, TX.

What other educational credentials do you have?  

BA in Biological Sciences from University of Texas at El Paso.

What are your particular clinical interests and why? 

Preventative medicine, outpatient clinic, I love the clinic setting and establishing great doctor patient relationships with my patients with the shared goal of improving their overall health.

Why did you choose Family Medicine? 

I love that Family Medicine providers get exposure to all sorts of pathology and specialties! Never a dull moment!

Why did you choose the Community Based Family Medicine Residency program? 

I love the city of San Antonio and want to give back to the community by providing the best healthcare to the less fortunate.  

What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine? 

I love spending time with my wife and dog, huge San Antonio Spurs fan, love going to Spurs games and playing basketball. My wife and I also enjoy trying new restaurants and doing bar trivia.
